Our Employees
Meet Tony Brookins
Tony, a proud father of two daughters in gymnastics, was inspired to start a small side business providing audio and announcements at competitions nationwide. For a few months each year, he swaps spreadsheets for scoreboards, traveling to events and bringing energy to arenas nationwide.
He’s also a lifelong pianist, having played since the age of eight, and still enjoys performing when the opportunity arises. Beyond his hobbies, Tony is a passionate advocate for mental health, especially in the workplace, promoting the importance of self-care and physical well-being.
In his role at ProDriven’s Charlotte office, Tony serves as Commercial Finance Director, a position he’s held since May 2021. He partners closely with our Retail Sales, Channel, and Safe Access product marketing teams to ensure that every financial decision, from pricing strategies to new product launches, is backed by thorough and strategic analysis.
“Repetitive” is not how Tony would describe his days. His work involves tackling complex, ad-hoc financial questions, engaging in collaborative meetings, and finding solutions that balance profitability with strategic growth. He’s especially proud to not be viewed as just a “numbers nerd,” but as a trusted partner in decision-making.
His advice for anyone looking to enter the finance field is simple: stay curious and learn how all aspects of a business connect.
“Be open to learning new things,” he shares. “Even if it has nothing to do with your day to day. So much of my growth has come from listening and learning about the big picture.”
Whether he’s analyzing data, performing at the piano, or announcing the next gymnast’s routine, Tony approaches everything with the same dedication to excellence, collaboration, and making an impact.
