László-Bocskai

László Bocskai

After seeing an advertisement in the newspaper, László joined Werner Co. in 1999. Currently he is Kecskemét’s Production Unit Leader, managing the Fűzfás köz location.

Even after nearly 30 years, László loves his job. One of the contributing factors to that is his team. Because they’ve been working together for such a long time, they get along and run like a well-oiled machine.

A typical workday consists of discussions on skill matrix trainings and his colleague’s development and ways that they can further grow. But what he enjoys most is all the problem solving he gets to do. Dealing with production problems can be a challenge, but he loves to find a solution.

A career highlight for László was in 2010 when he spent a little over a year in Hungary working with the Dresden factory on a joint military project creating a racking system that was used to overhaul and maintain a veteran 4-propeller aircraft.

“I was given complete autonomy in the implementation of the project. There was a lot of pressure because [until this point] the company had not produced such a system for anyone in Hungary,” he said when asked about any challenges he faced during the project.

László works, and plays, hard. Growing up he lived for sports, participating in (and winning) national triathlons. These days, when he’s not at work, you can find him on a motorcycle. For him, there’s no better way to relax than taking a trip on the back of his Honda.

When asked if he had any advice, he said “Don't be afraid to share your thoughts with your team and represent them. Listen and be an active member.”
